On 30^th October 2024, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 325 of KMCT Arts and Science College, Kuttippuram organized an induction program to 1^st year NSS volunteers named “EMBARK”. As the name suggest the program aims to make the students familiarize with NSS activities and benefits. The program starts with NSS prayer and welcome speech by Mr. Nidhin Das T (NSS Program officer, KMCT Arts and Science College, Kuttippuram). The program inaugurated by Mr. Shamsudheen M T, Principal. The induction session was handled by Mr. Noufal A, District Coordinator (National Service Scheme). He introduced NSS, its objectives, and activities, emphasizing student participation and benefits. He also emphasized the importance of social service and community engagement. The program was really engaging with games and activities. The session was helpful for the students to get a clear idea about the role and benefits of NSS in the society.

After the induction program, cultural activities were conduct. The session started with distributing sweets to students. The session really helped the students to showcase their talents. And the session end with fireworks and Diwali celebration. The session foster the community harmony, coordination among students.

60 students from 1^st year were participated the program and the student enjoyed the induction session, cultural programs and Diwali festivities.

This induction program successfully achieved its objectives, introducing first-year NSS students to the scheme and fostering a sense of community and social responsibility. The Diwali celebration and "Diwali with My Baharat" initiative added a cultural and patriotic dimension to the event.
